When tired of walking, you can hail a bus on the Prinsengracht “De Opstapper”, which connects the Jordaan/Central Station with the Waterlooplein /Amstel/Muziektheater. And if after a while you are longing for a day of Sea air, there are buses almost directly opposite the apartment, that will bring you to the beaches of Zandvoort or IJmuiden, all at local transport prices. The large variety in the neighberhood of tasty and cheap take aways, completes the location that is enjoyed for more than 40 years by the owners.
